Titagarh Naval Systems Limited (TNSL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Titagarh Rail Systems Limited (TRSL), builds upon the engineering experience and manufacturing capabilities developed by TRSL over the years.
TRSL is among India’s leading private rolling stock manufacturers, with an annual capacity of 12,000 wagons and 300–350 passenger coaches, being scaled up to around 850 coaches including Metro and Vande Bharat Sleeper trains. Metro coaches serve cities including Pune, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Surat, Mumbai and Patna, with operations spanning throughout the nation.
With this experience in precision engineering, large-scale manufacturing and project execution, TNSL is taking its next step into shipbuilding, carrying forward the same values of quality, innovation and excellence, while contributing to the vision of Make in India and a Viksit Bharat.

1997
Titagarh began as a freight wagon manufacturer in 1997, producing 15 wagons per month. With a vision to become the leader in the Indian market, its forward integration from foundry manufacturing enabled Titagarh to become a significant exporter of freight wagons and components from India.

The Titagarh Group Foundation was established with a simple yet meaningful purpose - to extend Titagarh’s impact beyond the tracks and seas and into the lives of the communities we serve. We believe that progress is truly meaningful when it reaches people, creates opportunities and enables communities to move forward. Through the Foundation, we bring our CSR efforts together under a focused and accountable framework, supporting initiatives across education, healthcare, community and rural development, environmental sustainability and other areas aligned with Schedule VII of the Companies Act, 2013. Guided by strong governance, transparency and responsible stewardship, our efforts aim to create meaningful and lasting social impact - supporting lives today, empowering communities and building a better tomorrow.
