Two advanced research vessels for the Geological Survey of India, via GRSE, now in parallel construction. Built in India. For India.
The Geological Survey of India requires platforms capable of seabed mapping, sediment sampling and natural resource exploration in coastal waters, with the station-keeping accuracy and low-noise operation that survey science demands.
TNSL's response draws on systems developed in-house for the Ocean Research Vessels, a hydraulically actuated drop keel for instrument deployment, a composite flap rudder for hydrodynamic efficiency, and integrated dynamic positioning.
